Journalist|

I am a journalist at heart. This truth was recognized at an early age, though I'll spare the details of a young girl with pig tails, a BIG imagination, and more than enough run-on sentences to last a life time.

UGA Grad, TV Reporter|

Fast forward two decades, I graduate from the University of Georgia anxiously grasping my Broadcast News degree, eager to finally start my career. I accepted my first job offer as a TV reporter and packed up for Shreveport, Louisiana. I gained valuable writing experience, perfected time management, and learned how to "turn lemons into lemonade", all while being appreciative to God for putting people in my path who would earnestly help me grow professionally.

News Producer|

My career soon led me to The Furniture Capital of the World--High Point, North Carolina. I gained a ton of experience there as a news producer. As I sprouted my professional wings, I gained confidence in my ability to make good decisions about news content, quickly write effective copy in a short amount of time, and put together a news cast from an absolutely BLANK rundown.

Blogger, Freelance Writer|

After a few years, I relocated back to my permanent home in GA. Sigh. Home, Sweet Home. I started accepting small freelance writing jobs including being a professional blogger. Writing blog posts provided an opportunity to gain experience with CMS (content management systems) and keep my writing and research skills sharp.

Digital Content Specialist|

As a supporter of local businesses, I began to recognize a need for digital marketing on the web for small and medium sized businesses throughout the metro Atlanta area. Many completely lacked an effective presence online, thereby neglecting viable opportunities to maximize the internet as a marketing tool.  Sure, starting a business is a big undertaking but you don’t have to go at it alone. Diamond Point Writing was birthed in 2015. We are here to help businesses start blogs, build websites, provide content, and start engaging clients on social media.
